Obama is Hiring

 

I just found out that there is a brand new web site for peo­ple who are apply­ing for jobs with the Obama Admin­is­tra­tion. Right out of the gate, this is an on-the-ball, tech­no­log­i­cally savvy move.

The URL is good, too: www.change.gov

I won­der if they need some­one work­ing for them who can do some/most of the work remotely, online from Canada? Or would that be ‘Out­sourc­ing an Amer­i­can job?’

    Given that you’re still an Amer­i­can cit­i­zen, I don’t see how they’d con­sider that out­sourc­ing. We live in a global mar­ket­place. It doesn’t mat­ter where Amer­i­cans are work­ing, so long as they are working.

    Good point. I hadn’t thought about that. OK. Made the request for an appli­ca­tion. We’ll have to see.

    I’ll def­i­nitely let friends and rel­a­tives know of what’s up. I sus­pect that there will be hun­dreds of thou­sands, if not a mil­lion peo­ple who apply for work with the admin­is­tra­tion. For some, it will be those in search of a job who have suf­fered the recent lay­offs through­out the states, where the unem­ploy­ment rate is at a 16-year high.
