And you're right--Vancouver is stunning. If you have a weekend free before the snow flies, btw, you should be sure to drive the Icefields Parkway between Banff and Jasper (Alberta). So beautiful around every curve that my husband and I got a severe case of what we called "vista fatigue"--every five minutes brought another exclamation of "Wow!" Good luck with settling in!
